Project Description

For the 59 Jalan Gumilang Project, the property is an inter-terrace home spanning two levels with an additional terrace roof. With a built-up area of approximately 3,000 square feet, the renovation focused on enhancing the home’s overall aesthetics while maintaining a clean and refined layout.

Design approach

The clients envisioned a modern luxury concept that feels elegant yet timeless. The design direction focused on clean architectural lines, premium finishes, and restrained detailing to elevate the overall ambience of the home. Carpentry was kept sleek and minimal, allowing materials and proportions to define the space rather than excessive ornamentation.

Living Room:
The living room was designed to feel expansive and refined, complemented by new flooring that grounds the space with a sense of luxury. Carpentry elements were kept subtle to maintain visual openness while still providing functional storage. The overall layout promotes comfortable family living while reflecting the home’s modern luxury character.

   

Kitchen:
The kitchen followed the same modern luxury theme, with carpentry designed to be clean and streamlined. Functional planning was prioritised to support daily use, while maintaining a polished and uncluttered appearance. The absence of wallpaper allows the materials and finishes to stand out as key design features.

Bedrooms:
The bedrooms were kept calm and understated, focusing on comfort and functionality. Built-in carpentry was designed to provide sufficient storage without overwhelming the space, ensuring each room remains restful and cohesive with the overall design concept.

Bathrooms:
The bathrooms were designed with simplicity and elegance in mind, aligning with the modern luxury theme. Clean finishes and practical layouts ensure ease of maintenance while delivering a refined and comfortable bathing experience.

 
 

The final outcome is a modern luxury home that balances scale, refinement, and everyday comfort. Through thoughtful flooring selections and streamlined carpentry, the inter-terrace house was transformed into an elegant yet livable space.
